DRY365 Strip

Container Desiccant is a specially formulate desiccant product by our SE & Dry365 department. It is widely used in the container to protect goods/products damage from moisture effect.
While shipping material by sea atmospheric air contains high humidity/moisture. which can cause the growth of fungus, mold.other problems like corrosion, erosion, oxidative degradation of the product. These can damage the valuable product.
It has a good capacity against moisture condensation by reducing the humidity of air to its dew point level in storage container/cargo during transportation. Besides that, it is designed to stay over the long period of time.

Working Principle:

The Dry365 Desiccant is an activated desiccant packet which will be in functioning while the product is removed sealed package and exposed to the air . This desiccants is in form of a hanging strip can be hang inside the lash points provided inside the container walls. This desiccants will absorb the moisture from the air and is hold by a thick gelling agent inside the package and due to the tyvek construction ensures the high end of safety.

Product Structure

The product's interior comprises four packs of calcium chloride powder, each weighing 250g, resulting in a cumulative net weight of 1000g. These packs are enclosed in inner bags made of breathable paper with a poly film to prevent leakage. The outer layer is enveloped in a dual-layered material featuring antileakage properties and coated non-woven fabric, enhancing its overall leak resistance.



Raw Materials

Calcium chloride at a concentration exceeding 60% along with various other dry ingredients The whole mixture will turned into gel effectively prevents liquid leakage. Under conditions of 50°C temperature and 95% relative humidity, the moisture absorption rate up to 300% within a 45-day period.

Desiccants Needed:

Generally, 4-6 strips are required for 20-foot containers and 6- 8 strips for 40-foot containers. However, the number may vary depending on the length of the voyage, the range of temperatures encountered and the type of products being protected.
